Worship services are moving online

Dear Church Family,

Today, a person from our congregation tested positive for COVID-19. The person was in attendance at our worship service last Sunday. When moving about the church, the person was masked and showed no symptoms of having the virus, however, it is not possible to tell whether the person was contagious during that time. Out of an abundance of caution, I have made the decision to cancel in-person gathering for the next two weeks. This will allow a full 14 days to elapse, with the intent of diminishing the chances of spread during in-person gathering. After that time, we will re-evaluate how to proceed going forward.

You will still be able to join our worship service online during this time. A link to our service is posted on Facebook and streamed on our YouTube channel. We will also host our Christmas Eve service online at 6:00 pm on Sunday evening (Dec. 20th).

If you were in service on Sunday, December 13th, please monitor your health closely and take appropriate action. There is nothing else that you are being asked to do officially, as a follow up to this information.

Please join me in praying for this member of our church family, that God will give to them a speedy recovery. Also, please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am praying for each of you during this time. May the Lord bless you as we continue to prepare for and celebrate the coming of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ!

Warmly,

Pastor Jason
