A Sweet Life with Jesus women’s retreat is a special time and place where we, as women, can slow down and savor time with God and each other. At the retreat you will find rest, laughter, tears, and joy. We will be learning more about Jesus and each other and growing in our relationship with both as we share and grow together in a safe and trusting environment.

Registration deadline is March 4. Cost for the full retreat is $60 which includes 4 meals and lodging for one night as well a Learn & Paint (Sat. afternoon for those who’d like to participate).

If you’d like to attend the retreat but do not plan to sleep there or can only attend for the day on Saturday the cost is $45. Friday evening only attenders cost is $10. Make checks payable to HLWC or pay online at www.hlwc.org/donate/ . Be sure to note that it is for the women’s retreat.

Saturday, March 17

7:30 am Devotion Time (optional)
8-9 am Breakfast
9:15-11 am Worship & Teaching Session 11-12 pm Individual devotion time
12:30-1:30 pm Lunch
2-4 pm FUN TIME
4-5 pm Personal Testimony/sharing 5-6 pm R & R–get ready for dinner (St. Patrick’s Day–dress up competition) 6-7 pm Dinner
7:15-8:30 pm Final Session 8:30-8:45 pm Closing


The Lodge at Peniel has various sleeping rooms and a large common area. Some rooms have 1 bed while others have multiple beds depending on the room. At time of payment, you can select the type of room you would like along with your paid roommates (if you want to room with others)—first come-first serve. The rooms have linens and a blanket on each bed and a towel and face cloth for each person. You may want to bring an extra blanket. There are two floors with bathrooms on each floor for common use. We will also be utilizing the restaurant and meeting house during the weekend.
